Early spring in the Yorkshire Dales is a season of renewal, with the first signs of green returning to the hillsides, lambs beginning to appear in the fields, and crisp, clear skies offering far-reaching views across the valleys. We chose these dates to capture the freshness and vitality of the landscape at this time of year, a perfect backdrop for rest, reflection, and new beginnings.

Your retreat home is Telfit Farm, a beautifully restored farmhouse in the heart of Swaledale. Set within 50 acres of private land, it combines rustic charm with modern comforts. Bedrooms are comfortable, with private or shared options. Lounges and corners to unwind. Windows frame sweeping hills, your peaceful haven after yoga and walks.

Meals on retreat are freshly prepared by our talented chefs, using seasonal, locally sourced, and entirely plant-based ingredients. Expect colourful, wholesome dishes designed to nourish and restore you from the inside out. Breakfasts are energising, lunches hearty and satisfying, and evening suppers comforting and full of flavour. Snacks, fruit, and herbal teas are always available.

Walking is central to this retreat, with guided routes into the Yorkshire Dales. From gentle riverside strolls to moorland climbs with sweeping views, each walk encourages mindful movement. You will love feeling active and free in this stunning landscape, especially when your walk is followed by a cool river dip and some time in the hot tub.

Yoga sets your daily rhythm: energising mornings and calming evenings. Practices complement walking, building strength, improving flexibility and easing tension. Mornings offer dynamic flows to prepare for time outdoors; evenings focus on slower, restorative postures to soothe tired muscles. Suitable for beginners and experienced yogis.

Enhance relaxation with bookable therapeutic massages during your stay. Experienced therapists treat you in calm, nurturing spaces at Telfit. Sessions ease tired walking muscles, release built up tension and encourage deep rest. Many guests find a massage helps them fully let go, leaving body and mind lighter, calmer and restored.

SCHEDULE
Retreat schedule
Friday: Arrivals 5pm, cake and juice, followed by evening yoga and dinner.
Saturday/Sunday: Morning yoga, breakfast, guided Dales walk, lunch, massage, cake and juice, evening yoga and dinner.
Monday: Morning yoga, breakfast, departures 10am
