About
The location
The Stockholm Archipelago is a scatter of tens of thousands of islands where pine forest meets the sea, reached only by boat. Days here move around the water; cold-water swims, kayaking between islands, hiking coastal trails, and long Nordic light that stretches evenings out.
Zest Life retreats in Sweden are held on a private island within the archipelago, away from crowds and traffic, with the exact venue and access details confirmed on the current retreat page.
This is nature-led wellness without the spa-luxury trappings — cold water, pine forest, and space, instead.

VENUE

Island stays
Zest Life retreats in Sweden are held on private or secluded islands within the Stockholm Archipelago, away from the mainland, reached only by boat, with pine forest running down to the water's edge. You won't be sharing the space with passing tourists or a hotel's other guests; each retreat has its own dedicated setting for the week.
ACCOMMODATION

Sleep & relax
Rooms are cottage-style, close to the water and simply, thoughtfully put together rather than styled for spa luxury. Twin, double, single and private options are typically available, with shared bathrooms. Exact room types and pricing are confirmed on the current retreat page, as these vary retreat to retreat.
OUTDOOR SPACES

The Archipelago
Step straight from your accommodation into the water, for a dip, a proper swim, or simply to sit and look out over the islands. Guided swims take you to some of the archipelago's more secluded spots, away from the main routes. Between swims, there's kayaking and coastal hiking, with the pace built around the water rather than a schedule.
INDOOR SPACES

Yoga studio
Each retreat has a dedicated yoga space, generally set with a view out over the sea. All equipment is provided; mats, blocks and props, so there's nothing to bring beyond yourself.
RESPONSIBILTY

Responsibility
The wider archipelago has its own conservation story: land here was protected from development decades ago, an agreement that led to the nearby Bullerö Nature Reserve and, more recently, the creation of the Nämdö Archipelago National Park. Staying here means staying inside a landscape that's been deliberately kept this way.
DOWN TIME

Sauna & hot tub
Sauna is a fixture of every Sweden retreat; the return point after cold water, and the place the day slows down. Expect it worked into most afternoons, alongside genuine free time.
Why guests choose Sweden:
- You want somewhere genuinely remote, not a resort dressed up as one
- You're curious about cold water but want it guided
- You'd rather kayak and hike than sit by a pool
- You want a small group and Zest Life's usual care and detail, wherever the venue
